Yeah, they are killing it…………….So, see the effects of arsenic on human health.

Arsenic is naturally occurring metallic chemical of the Earth’s crust which the scientists believed to be present in groundwater. No doubt, it is found all over the world in groundwater. Man-made products, including some pesticide, contains arsenic. It cannot be dissolved in water, it is said that the organic form of arsenic contain carbon.

The concentration of arsenic may be higher in some geographical regions, the reasons could be human activity, and metal mining or frequently used of man-made products that present arsenic such as pesticides.

There are various rocks that release arsenic and furthers contaminated the groundwater, which is the main cause of arsenic poisoning worldwide. The World Health Organisation (WHO) estimated that over 200 million people are exposed to drinking water that contains a high level of arsenic.

The inorganic form of arsenic is present in groundwater of many different countries like Argentina, Chile, Bangladesh, etc…..Here is the report from the Wikipedia post….

Arsenic is associated with higher rates of skin cancer, bladder cancer, and lungs cancer, heart disease, according to the Food and DrugAdministration.

As per the post published on WHO official website, the immediate effect of the arsenic poisoning include vomiting, abdominal pain, and diarrhea, etc.

Exposure to arsenic may lead to chronic arsenic poisoning, skin lesion and skin cancer. It may cause to change the way cell communicate which further reduce the ability to function (Phosphate are used by the cell for energy generation and signaling, but arsenate which is another form of arsenic can imitate and replace the phosphate) and it could play a role in the development of diabetes, vascular disease and lungs cancer. Inhalation of arsenic can cause lungs cancer.

Ingestion of a large amount of inorganic arsenic leads to gastrointestinal symptoms, disturbance of cardiovascular and nervous system functions, and even death…………
