What Is a Black Hole?

A place in the space where the gravitational pull is very strong that not even light can escape. The matter can be squeezed into a tiny space because the gravity is so strong.

Blackholes are invisible, people can’t see the black hole because no light can pass or get out. But space’s telescope with extra special instruments can help find black holes.

Scientists strongly believed that the smallest black holes are small as just one atom but unexpectedly they have the mass of a large mountain. There might be many black holes in the galaxy.

The largest known black holes are called supermassive which have the masses that are more than 1 million suns together. Supermassive galaxy can be seen at the center of the large galaxy, according to the scientists. Supermassive black holes were formed when the galaxy exists.
